A few years ago, I was introduced to a fascinating young woman with developmental disabilities. I was surprised to learn that she lived independently and held a job, despite the challenges in her life.
What did I know? I guess I figured that people with developmental challenges spent their lives, you know, in a home or something. Was I ignorant or what? This young woman is holding her own, contributing to her community and teaching people like me a thing or two about life!
And it’s because of Trinity Services, Inc., which has helped people with disabilities for over 50 years. At Trinity, folks like my young friend acquire the skills to live independently and to hold down jobs with local employers.
Trinity also created small businesses and the money from the sale of their products goes to the Trinity Foundation to help underwrite the work of Trinity Services. Well, let me tell you that I just had to affiliate Jasmine’s with Trinity after what I learned from my young friend.
The bottom line? When you buy a product from me you help persons with disabilities lead full and abundant lives.
